Okay, as most of you have probably guessed by now, I go through obsessions faster than Taylor Swift goes through men. To begin with it was Professor Layton, then Sonic the Hedgehog, then My Chemical Romance (don't ask how I made that jump), then Panic! At The Disco, next was AmazingPhil and Danisnotonfire, then Hetalia, then I was briefly obsessed with Les Miserables (still kinda am) and now I have reached Black Butler, or Kuroshitsuji. Why? Because it has a very intricate story line and the characters quite honestly intrigue me. You can never quite tell if Sebastian (the butler) really cares for Ciel (the boy) and I like that aspect of it because it keeps you guessing. And Grell (
a reaper guy who has the hots for the butler) is completely fucking hilarious. It's the perfect mix of mystery, humour and one of the darkest story lines I have ever read (the manga) or watched (the anime). If you haven't seen Black Butler before, I urge you to check it out before they butcher it with the live-action movie they're making later this year which is planning to completely deviate from the original story (it's not even going to be set in the same time period!).
Let me just take a moment to scream this out to the world: IN EXACTLY SEVEN MOTHERFUCKING DAYS I AM GOING TO SEE BLACK VEIL BRIDES ON THE KERRANG! TOUR.... HOLY MOTHERFUCKING SHIT!!
That is all I have to say on the matter.
Sadly, Towler (my Beagle puppy) has left us to go back to the kennels. I always knew that we could only have him for a couple of months because he's a hunting dog (DO NOT spam my journal with anti-hunt comments, thank you), but I still miss him a lot nonetheless. On a slightly connected note, I am being forced to go to the Annual Hunt Ball tomorrow night (that's the kind of 'ball' I meant in the title, of course...). As in; a ball with evening gowns and suits and dancing and the next person closest to my age is twenty-nine. Please stand by as I ruin my grandfather's social standing.
Also, for those interested, I shall hopefully be updating Crossfire over the weekend or early next week; thanks for your ongoing support with my original works!
