I hate how plain my skin is,

Demon InsideWill you love the demon

I cannot pretend to be an angel,

I never have presumed that I was good,
and never sought to be better than this.

Will you tremble at the sight of me?

do I repulse you so?

Or might you glimpse something
beyond all the insanity,

On a barren alienated path
Death played a joke,

After stealing apples
From old wrinkled trees with knotted arthritic branches

Your cheeks were dusted with freckles in the summer

Things I'll Never SayThere are certain things I’ll never say,
Like how I thought about killing myself today
Just to keep my own scary thoughts away.
Like how I stay awake way too late
To be sure I don’t awake in a bloody state.
Like how I soaked white into red last night
And turned myself into a ghastly sight.
Like how it hurts too much to breathe
When I make my own skin seethe.
Like how I Google things I shouldn’t
When I want to do things I couldn’t.
Like how I’m scared of being alone
Yet I’m only happy when I’m on my own.
Like how I know I’ll wind up killing myself
And turn into just a dusty photo on a dusty sh

ThousandsI'm sixteen,
Doubt I'll see thirty

How to Hate YourselfIf you need a reason to live,
Is your life worth living?
If you have nothing to give,
Don't expect people to keep on giving.

If you're smiles are lies,
Have you ever not been lying?
If this is your best try,
Why the hell are you even trying?

If your heart wants to sing,
Open your soul and start singing.
If a cut is but a sting,
Then let me soothe the stinging.

If every truth is a burn,
Then learn to cool the burning.
If you need to learn,
Trust yourself and just start learning.

If you want to leave,
I won't stop you from leaving;
Just don't say you believe,
Because without hope, what is believing?

Admitting ItIt's not my fault that I can't control myself,
I can't help it that I fell to the dark.
But please, give me yet another chance;
Let me reignite my inner spark.

I understand if you want to give me up,
I know it's the least I deserve.
But please, at least let me try;
I have an honour to preserve.

I'll take the pills for you, my friends,
So that I'm less of a trouble.

Though I'll never understand why it went so wrong
I had never felt that a sentiment could be so true

I pray that I will up wake from this nightmare,
look at you, feel you near, see that you still care.
